Adele Henning

Adele C. Henning, age 84, of Chicago, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, IL.

She was born on February 18, 1935 in Chicago, the daughter of Frederick and Rozalia (Szot) Mayer.

She is survived by her husband, Gilbert Lee Henning of Chicago, who she married on May 1, 1954 in Chicago.  She is also survived by her children; Pamela (William) DeVries of Wilmington, Adele (Bill) Olsen of Oak Lawn, and Gilbert (Laura) Henning of Hammond, IN; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Rosalie (Jim) Reid) and Deborah Norcutt; and a brother, Frederick Mayer.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Carl Mayer.

Cremation rites have been accorded.
