William "Bill" E. Wessman

William “Bill” E. Wessman, age 60, of Peotone, formerly of Oak Forest, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 14, 2022.

     He was born on January 14, 1962, in Harvey, IL, the son of Edwin and Karen (Lillyquist) Wessman.  Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool, and riding his motorcycle.  He was loved by his family and had numerous friends who thought the world of him.  Nobody ever had a bad word to say about Bill. 

     He is survived by his father, Edwin Wessman of Oak Forest; his 2 loving daughters, Courtney (Brandon) Lespron of Arizona and Olivia Wessman of Peotone; 2 adoring grandchildren, Cooper and Zara; 6 siblings, Cheryl Hodge, Lori Wessman, Cathy Wessman, Lisa Heath-Bottcher, Alvie Heath, and Mike Heath; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen. 

    A celebration of Bill’s life will be held on Saturday, November 12 from 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. at The Derby House, 7048 West Steger Road, Frankfort, IL.   Memorials may be made at https://gofund.me/d62964bb
