Thomas Goleski

     Thomas Goleski, age 73, of Peotone, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023, at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee following a sudden illness.

     He was born on September 2, 1949, in Ogdensburg, NY, the son of Paul and Mildred (Simmons) Goleski.  Tom married Nadene Vetter on May 7, 1994, in Beecher, IL.  He worked for Metra for over 30 years, retiring in 2009. 

     He is survived by his wife, Nadene Goleski of Peotone; his children, Jim Goleski of Oregon, Jennifer (Danny) Rodriguez of Georgia, and Brandy (Recap) Yagcier of Manteno; 5 grandchildren, Ashley, Caitlyn, Emily, Matthew, and Isabelle; and 2 sisters, Darlene (Roddy) Burns of New York and Sally Schell of Chebanse; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, David and Paul Goleski.
