Theresa L. Koehn

Theresa L. Koehn, age 88, of Manteno, formerly of Peotone, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025, at her residence.

She was born on September 4, 1936, in Green Garden Township, the daughter of George and Bessie (Whitlow) Burger. She married Warren W. Koehn on February 18, 1955, at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Peotone. Theresa was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ and the Peotone Women’s American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Warren W. Koehn; her daughter, Debbie; her son Douglas; 6 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Duane.

Visitation will be held at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. with a funeral service being held at 12:00 p.m., Rev. Terry Krouskoupf officiating. Interment will be at Peotone Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Uplifted Care Hospice, 482 Main St. NW, Bourbonnais, IL 60914.
