Susan J. Young, age 74, of Peotone, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.
She was born on July 28, 1941 in Chicago, the daughter of the late Samuel and Edith (Johnson) Boston.
She is survived by her husband, Orville W. Young of Peotone; her children, Brian (Krissy) Manion, Michael (Peggy) Manion, Karen (Dave) Randolph, Christopher Manion, Timothy (Karen Beers) Manion, Robert (Kathy) Young, Kristine (Mike) Tyler), and Thomas Young; her grandchildren, Tracey (Joe) Lowry, Sarah Pantoja, Casey, Corey, and Christy Manion, Alexis and Madison Manion, and Cody, Jacob, Ryan, Mia, and Marcus Young; four great-grandchildren, Carter Manion, Dylan Lowry, and Nick and Nate Pantoja; and a son-in-law, Billy Anderson. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two children, Denise Anderson and Mark Young.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
