Starr Gill

Starr A. (McGonigle) Gill, age 71, of Peotone, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the University of Chicago Medical Center in Chicago, IL.
She was born on February 12, 1946 in Los Angeles, CA. She was formerly employed at Governors State University and JCC Stone of Flossmoor. She enjoyed making crafts and attending estate and garage sales. She and her husband raised horses and participated in many shows and parades. She was of the Catholic faith.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas W. Gill, who she married on September 13, 1969 in Chicago. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Maryann Kraft.
A memorial visitation will be held at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Deacon Jim Kelly officiating. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials to the family’s wishes would be appreciated.
