Stanley R. Wright

Stanley R. Wright, age 77, of Peotone, formerly of Midlothian, IL, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 9, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on September 28, 1947, in Chicago, IL, the son of Clayton and Bernice (Inlow) Wright. Stanley was a United States Army Veteran serving from 1965-1969. He retired after working for Mi-Jack Products in Hazel Crest, IL for 40 years. He was an avid hunter.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Janet (Crowley) Wright of Peotone; his children, Stacey (James) Hartwell of Peotone, Kari A. (Mark Swoboda) Cooper of Huntsville, AL, Justin (Charele Selonke) Wright of Gilbert, AZ, Kyle Wright of Midland, TX, and Stanley Wright Jr. of Twin Lakes, WI; his grandchildren, Jacob (Brianna) Hartwell, Matthew (Alyssa) Cooper, McKenah (Kurt) Rutz, Jarrett Hartwell, Montana Cooper, Jameson Selonke, Elliott Selonke, Mason Wright, Izabella Wright, and Layla Wright; 7 great-grandchildren, his sister, Sandra (the late Michael) Trella, his brother, Clayton (Joyce) Wright; a brother-in-law, Ron Freitag; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Bernice Freitag.
