Ryan Joseph Van Ham, age 31, of Peotone, IL passed away suddenly on Friday, October 3, 2014 at home. He was born on May 28, 1983 in Harvey, IL. He was employed as a butcher at Berkot’s Super Foods in South Wilmington, IL.
Ryan is survived by his mother, Joan (nee Travis) (Jim McLaughlin) Van Ham of Monee; his father, Raymond Van Ham of Colorado; his sister, Meghan Van Ham of Conroe, TX; his maternal grandmother, Bernadine Travis of Peotone; his aunt, Susan Podgorny of Peotone; his uncle, Jeff (Jamie) Travis of Monee; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Clyde Travis; and his aunt, Karen (Travis) Buback.
A visitation will be held at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 7 at 8:00 p.m., Deacon Jim Kelly officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded following all services.
