Ronald I. Coursey

Ronald I. Coursey age 69 of Peotone, Illinois passed away Thursday December 4,th 2025.

Ronald was born September 3,1956 in Cairo, Illinois to the late Ivan and Delores (Crippen) Coursey.

On May 23, 1981 in Crete, Illinois he married Cathy J. Skinner.

For 28 years Ronald “Ellwood” Coursey was a Deputy (retired) of the Will County Sheriff’s Office.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three grandchildren.

As a loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather he is survived by his Wife Cathy Coursey of Peotone, Illinois, Brother John (Debra) Coursey of Grant Park, Illinois, his Son Thomas (Kari) Coursey and their two Sons of Easley, South Carolina, his Daughter Sarah (Matt) Colbert and their Daughter and Son of Crown Point, Indiana.

Per his wishes Ronald will be cremated and no services will be held.
