Robert Klocksieben

Robert H. Klocksieben, age 86, of Monee, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Vitas Hospice at Franciscan St. James Hospital in Chicago Height, IL.

He was born on October 21, 1931 in Chicago Heights, the son of the late Robert J. and Evelyn (Peterson) Klocksieben.  Robert worked at Argonne National Laboratory for many years.  He was a United States Air Force Veteran and was an active member of the Steger American Legion and Steger V.F.W.  He enjoyed gardening, building various things around the house and the yard, going on walks in nature, traveling, reading, and going to the theater.

He is survived by a son, James Klocksieben of Dyer, IN; and 2 grandsons, Robert (Frina) Klocksieben of Tampa, FL and Richard Klocksieben of Cape Coral, FL.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Robert Klocksieben; and his loving companion, Diane N. Stacy (12-28-2017).

Cremation rites have been accorded.  Private inurnment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
