Peter means “Rock”! This is what Peter would tell everyone. This is truly who he is, our Rock. The one who taught us patience, humility, compassion but most of all Love. There are so many things that shaped who Peter was, not only to his family, but everyone that was blessed to have their life impacted by him. He loved his family more than anything in the world, so much so that he was literally jumping up and down when he heard the news that he is going to get another Great-Niece in November. He also loved coloring which he would do daily while watching TV or chatting with Mom. He also loved being an athlete in the Special Olympics competing in basketball, bowling, volleyball, softball, but most of all Unified Bocce with his favorite teammate and buddy, his Father. He was extremely proud of his medal collection that he earned throughout his life competing. We could fill a library with stories of Peter and what he meant to his family and the world. So; until we meet again our Rock, our pillar, we will miss you dearly, for now you have earned your angel wings in place of your gold medal and are now walking on the golden streets of Heaven.
