Paul J. Mackowiak

Paul J. Mackowiak, age 86, of Beecher, IL, formerly of Calumet City, IL, passed away Monday, June 16, 2025, at Beecher Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation in Beecher, IL.

He was born on July 1, 1938, in Chicago, IL, the son of Anthony and Mae (Chess) Mackowiak. He married Marianne (Marcoullier) Mackowiak on August 4, 1962. She preceded him in death on July 23, 1989. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Peotone, IL, and a United States Army Veteran.

He is survived by his 2 daughters, Laura Mackowiak and Julie Mackowiak; his sister, Joan (the late Stanley) Mastej; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Father Thomas Milota is officiating.
