Maxine Jane Dillner

Maxine Jane Dillner, age 92, of Peotone, formerly of Lansing, IL and Dowagiac, MI, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022, at Beecher Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Beecher, IL.

She was born on April 5, 1930, in Hammond, IN, the daughter of Clarence and Hazel Cotner.  She married Robert E. Dillner on August 2, 1947, in Lake County, IN.  He preceded her in death on June 25, 2009.  Maxine worked as head teller at Calumet National Bank in Hammond, IN retiring after many years of service. 

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Candice and Douglas Schultz of Peotone, IL and Arnette and Thomas Cotner of Crown Point, IN; her grandchildren, Brian Cotner, Holly Cotner (Eric) Martinez, and Jason (Michelle Palaro) Schultz.  She was preceded in death by her grandson, Aaron Schultz.  She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren; Aubrey, Londyn, and Colton; and a sister, Marion (the late Robert) Miller.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her grandson, and a stepbrother, Chris Cotner.
