MaryAnn Haley, 80, of Mesa, AZ, formerly of Monee, IL, died Monday, September 30, 2013 at Banner Garden Hospice House in Mesa, AZ.
Visitation will be held at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Friday, October 4 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, October 4 at 8:00 p.m., Deacon James Kelly officiating. Private graveside services will be held at Peotone Cemetery. Memorials to the family's wishes would be appreciated.
She was born July 2, 1933 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late John and Ruth (Gardner) Batzek. She married the late John W. Haley (February 29, 2000) in Chicago on July 18, 1953. She was a homemaker and enjoyed making ceramics. She also especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
MaryAnn is survived by two sons, Ronald Haley of Mesa, AZ and Michael Haley of Apache Junction, AZ; three daughters, Debbie (Mark) Hughes of Monee, IL, Judy McIntyre of Bradley, IL and Penny (Pete) Alexander of Mesa, AZ; seven grandchildren, Shawn (Kristen) McIntyre, Jason (Jessica) McIntyre, Jeff McIntyre, Christopher (Heather) Haley, Joshua (Lisa) Haley, Jeremiah Hughes, and Matthew Alexander; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son-in-law, Peter J. McIntyre (September 1, 2001); a daughter-in-law, Cora Haley; and two brothers, John and Charles Batzek.
