Mary E. Harmening

     Mary E. Harmening, age 79, formerly of Monee, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Franciscan Health in Rensselaer, IN. 

     She was born on December 7, 1942 in Chicago, the daughter of George Arthur and Marguerite Louise (Lindsay) Rogers.  She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Monee.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, farming, playing bingo, and crocheting.

     She is survived by her son, Wesley Rogers of Watseka; her daughter, Michelle Harmening of Beecher; her grandchildren, Jessica Williamson of Kentland, IN, Jennifer Clyden of Watseka, and Dominic Harmening; her great-grandchildren, Hayleigh Williamson and Paityn Clyden; Sue and Darrell Siefker of Monee and numerous other cousins.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Harmening.  

     A memorial visitation will be held at Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Saturday, November 19 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Cremation rites have been accorded.
