Marie Riney

Marie Riney, 84, of Peotone, formerly of Monee, died Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Presence St. Mary's Hospital in Kankakee.
She was born on June 7, 1929 in Conway, MO; the daughter of the late Frank and Clara (Reed) Myers. She married the late Virgil T. Riney (Oct. 13, 1991) in Conway, MO on October 7, 1947.
She was retired from Governor's State University. She was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spoiling her grandchildren.
She is survived by 4 children; Terry Riney of Peotone, Russ (Janet) Riney of Monee, Connie (Gary) Clausing of Peotone, and Diane DeBoer of Peotone; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; 4 sisters; 4 brothers; and 2 grandchildren, Michael Justice and Toni Riney.
Visitation will be held at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Peotone Cemetery. Memorials to the family would be appreciated.
