Marian E. Krapf

Marian Evelyn Krapf, 98, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 4, 2026, in Sullivan, Illinois.

Born to Howard and Edith Barr, she grew up in Wilton Center and graduated from Peotone High School. Following graduation
she worked for a doctor's office before marrying Wayne Krapf in 1948.

Marian was a busy farm wife supporting her husband and later their son in their farm operations in Green Garden Township. A
few years after Wayne's passing in 2000. Marian and their son, Keith, and his family moved to central Illinois to continue
farming without suburbia encroaching.

Marian is survived by her son, Keith (Angela), and her daughters, Coralee (Thomas) Hardwick, and Carol (Fred, deceased)
Burns, seven grandchildren, Christopher (Heather), Jennifer Ryan (Maurice), Lisa (Laben), Erich (Maddie), Carrie (Chris), and
Amanda (Paul), and eleven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by nieces, Lin (Joe), Lori (Pete), and three cousins, 
Barbara, Bill, and Kenneth.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Edith, her husband, Wayne, her son-in-law, Fred, her brother and sister-
in-law, Burton and Marilyn, and her nephew, Kevin.

The Krapf family extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone at Aspen Creek of Sullivan and her nurses from Hands of God
Hospice for their dedicated care in her last days.

Private family services will be held with burial in Green Garden Greenview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting
donations be made to Hands of God Hospice.
