Kathleen Hoffner

Kathleen D. Hoffner, age 58, of Peotone, formerly of Matteson, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the University of Chicago Hospital.
She was born January 19, 1956 in Blue Island, IL, the daughter of the late William R. and Betty S. (Sligar) Dailey. She worked as the church secretary at the Peotone United Methodist Church.
Kathleen is survived by her husband, Stephen G. Hoffner of Peotone who she married on June 26, 1976 in Park Forest. She is also survived by a son, Kevin (Katie) Hoffner of Tinley Park; a daughter, Kelly (Greg) Swedberg of St. Charles; and a sister, Linda J. Leweling of Peotone.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 11from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home in Peotone. Funeral services will be on Monday, May 12 at 11:00 a.m. from the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home, Rev. Terry Krouskoupf officiating. Burial will be at Peotone Cemetery. Memorials to the Peotone Firefighter's Association or the Peotone United Methodist Church would be appreciated.
