June Ullrich

June E. Ullrich, age 97, of Peotone, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018 at her home.  She was born on June 1, 1921 in Frankfort, IL, the daughter of the late Gilbert and Lulu (Klepper) Schmuhl.   She married Harold F. Ullrich on November 14, 1937 in Frankfort, IL.  He preceded her in death on November 23, 1998.  She worked as the circulation manager for Big Farmer Magazine in Frankfort, IL.  She loved to cook and was active in her churches.  She was a former member of Green Garden United Methodist Church and a current member of Faith Community Church in Peotone.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children; Carol (Wayne) Cosgrove-Hossbach of Peotone, Kathryn (Donald) Hoffman of Peotone, Roger Ullrich of Arizona, Luann Soucie of Peotone, and Karen (Edward) Knecht of Peotone; 11 grandchildren, Ronda (Lee) Allott, Renee (Rory) Davis, Randall (Patricia) Ullrich, Rebecca (Jerry) Maxwell, Brian (Sue) Hoffman, Steven (Tammy) Hoffman, Alan (Carrie) Hoffman, Donn (Anne) Soucie, Laura (Ruben) Velasco, Darryl (Robbie) Boehl, Maxwell (Katie) Knecht ; 29 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; a sister, Gladys Ault of Arizona; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; 3 sisters, Marie Kline, Shirley Kampe, and Bernice Havle; one brother, Wilbert Schmuhl; 2 sons-in-law, Glen Cosgrove and Dennis Soucie; and a daughter-in-law, Phyllis Ullrich.

Visitation will be held at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be held at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 2 at 7:00 p.m., Pastor David Marsett officiating.  Private family committal services will be held at Green Garden Greenview Cemetery in Manhattan.  Memorial contributions to the family’s wishes would be appreciated
