Jennifer Von Wahlde

Jennifer S. Von Wahlde, age 41, of Peotone, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2019 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee following a courageous battle with diabetes.

She was born on May 15, 1978 in Harvey, IL.  Jennifer was a Peotone High School graduate.   Following graduation, she worked as a professional cosmetologist and certified radiologist.  She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Peotone.

She is survived by her father, Donald (Becky) Von Wahlde of Fort Myers Beach, FL; her mother, Eydie (Scott) Novelli of Peotone; two sisters, Stephanie (Mike) Orvis of Bourbonnais and Kitty White of Cedar Lake, IN; a nephew, Elias Orvis;  two uncles, Marty (Kate) Von Wahlde of Franklin, TN and Gerry (Cindy) Von Wahlde of North Point, FL; and several cousins.

Visitation will be held at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 24 from 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.  A funeral mass will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church on Thursday, July 25 at 11:00 a.m.  Cremation rites will be accorded following all services.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jennifer’s name can be directed to
