Janice M. Schleicher

      Janice M. Schleicher, age 70, of Bradley, IL, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, May 19, 2024.  

      She was born on September 3, 1953, in Harvey, IL, the daughter of Frank and Elwanda (Brown) Swinford.  She married Edward A. Schleicher on February 13, 1982.   Janice was a member of the First Baptist Church of Manteno, IL.

      Janice is survived by her husband of 42 years, Edward A. Schleicher; 2 step-children, Joseph Schleicher and Shelby Schleicher; 3 sisters, Shirley (the late Dave) Lingo, Manita (Bob) Bartels, and Donna (the late Douglas) Hale; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Elwanda Swinford; a sister, Linda Vincent; and a nephew, Darren Hale.

      Cremation rites have been accorded.   A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Manteno, 300 W. 3rd St., Manteno, IL., 60950. Share a memory at www.feddehelfrichcrossfh.com
