Jaiden Oakes Peters

Jaiden Oakes Peters, age 21, a resident of Peotone, formerly of Bradley, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 30, 2023. Loving son of Zachary Peters and Tammy Peters (Pickett); beloved brother of Molly Peters, Elizabeth Peters, and Isla Perez; dearest grandson of Mary Lou (formerly Peters) (Jon) Blue and the late Michael Peters and Alan and Pamela Pickett, nephew of the late Nicole Pickett, Gretchen (Gary) Borella, Scott (Josie) Pickett, Jeanne (Jason) Skube, Craig Pickett, Kayci (Tom) Pickett-Hinde, April Pickett, and Kevin (Calob) Pickett, and cousin to many. Jaiden was an active-duty member of the United States Army stationed at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas where he achieved the rank of Specialist, having served one deployment in South Korea. He was a 2020 graduate of Peotone Community High School, also having attended Bishop McNamara High School in Kankakee and St. Joseph Catholic Grade School in Bradley. During high school he was a member of the Cross Country and Track and Field teams. Jaiden also worked at Tony’s Pizza in Peotone during high school. Jaiden enjoyed online gaming, playing intramural soccer, and spending time with his friends and family. A visitation will be held at Fedde-Helfrich–Cross Funeral Home located 112 W. Main St. Peotone IL 60468 on  Thursday, February 9th, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 511 N. Conrad Ave, Peotone IL 60468 on Friday February 10th,2023 at 10:30 AM.
