In Loving Memory of Glenn Trinowski
June 16, 1958- April 6, 2026
Glenn Trinowski, age 67, of Peotone, Illinois, passed away on April 6, 2026, at 8:07 PM, surrounded by the love of his family and the music from some of his favorite artists.
Born on June 16, 1958, in Hammond, Indiana, to the late Max and Angelena (Celano) Trinowski, he was a man defined by his resilience, his rhythm, and his unwavering devotion to those he loved.
A Life of Dedication
A pillar of hard work, he spent decades as a dedicated employee of Commonwealth Edison and the Exelon Corporation. He retired as a respected Project Scheduler/Manager at the Braidwood Nuclear Power Plant, where his colleagues knew him as a man of integrity and precision.
Music, Baseball, and the Fairways
Outside of work, his soul belonged to the strings of a guitar and the energy of the game. An incredible guitar player, he spent years performing with several local bands, sharing his gift with the community. Some of his family’s most cherished memories took place in his music room—sitting on his lap as children, listening to the crackle of Rolling Stones albums and learning that music was a language of love.
His love for sports was just as deep; an avid golfer and a lifelong baseball fan, he shared his passion for the game by coaching his son Michael’s baseball teams for several years. Whether he was on the diamond or on the greens of the golf course, he was at his happiest when he was active. He could often be found waving to neighbors in the community on his evening bike rides around town.
The Ultimate Fighter
He was the true definition of a fighter. Throughout the toughest battles of his life, his focus never wavered from his family. His strength was anchored in his role as a caregiver for his beloved wife, Susan, and his desire to be present for every milestone in his children’s and grandchildren’s lives. He possessed a rare ability to pivot away from the negative, instead spreading a contagious positivity to everyone he met.
Family
He is survived by his wife of over 45 years, Susan (Price) Trinowski; his three children, Kristen (Brian) Cann of Manteno, IL, Lindsay of Orlando, FL, and Michael of Wheat Ridge, CO; and his three grandchildren, Isla, Orion, and Lyra, who were the lights of his life. He is also survived by his brother, Douglas, of Rochester Hills, MI.
His Voice and Legacy
To hear his story in his own words, the family invites you to listen to a podcast episode where he shared his cancer journey and his philosophy on life. It serves as a testament to his wisdom, his grit, and his boundless kindness to everyone: [Glenn’s Journey].
