Frank played football and ran track for the Norris City Cardinals where he proudly lettered all four years in both.  His first car was a black 1955 Ford with fender skirts that read “Frankie”.  He met the love of his life, Marilyn, at a football game.  They began their married life of 61 years in California before moving back to Illinois.  Frank was a faithful employee at the Ford Motor Company for 36 years.  After retirement, he worked as a driver for Terry’s Ford in Peotone.

Frank enjoyed going to flea markets, collecting, and restoring antiques.  He also loved driving and restoring old cars.  One of his favorite cars he restored was a 1956 police car reminiscent from the Andy Griffith show.  He was an avid reader especially of Civil War history along with studying his Bible.  In his later years, he enjoyed participating in car shows, watching old Westerns, The Waltons and listening to Country and Southern Gospel music.

Most importantly, was the relationship he had with his Lord Jesus. Over the years, Frank mentored and led many to walk with the Lord.  He and Marilyn are faithful members of The Peoples Church in Bourbonnais, Illinois where he enjoyed the monthly meetings of Man Church.  He also looked forward to the men’s monthly breakfasts with Pastor Greg.
