Elsie M. Erickson

Elsie M. Erickson, age 95, of Grant Park, IL, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Beecher Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Beecher, IL.

She was born on June 6, 1930, in Beecher, IL, the daughter of Henry and Rosina (Oehlerking) Meyer. She married William C. Erickson on September 10, 1955, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Richton Park, IL. William passed away on February 25, 2021. Elsie was a long-time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Richton Park and a member and treasurer of the church’s Ladies Aide. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers, especially violets. She was someone who was always caring for others.

She is survived by her children, Ronald (Ruth) Erickson of Momence, Kenneth (Sandra) Erickson of Grant Park, Judy (Steve) Wolff of Peotone, and Larry (Kristin) Erickson of Plainfield; her grandchildren, Jennifer Daniels, Melinda (Nate) Green, Elizabeth (PJ) Arway, Daniel (Calla) Erickson, Heather (husband Josh Kulacz) Erickson, Laura Erickson, Jonathon (Erin) Wolff, Nathan (Lindsey) Wolff, Megan (Elliot) Pedersen, and Brian (Steph) Erickson; and her great-grandchildren, Abby, Mary, Josie, and Isabel Daniels, Benjamin, Caleb, and Noah Green, Blakely and Delaney Wolff, Annaliese, Nolan, and Hudson Wolff, and Amesley and Casen Pedersen, Ruby and Riley Erickson, and Lenna Erickson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William, and an infant brother.

Visitation will be held at Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home, 112 W. Main St., Peotone, IL, on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., Pastor Bryan Reeves officiating. Burial will be at Skyline Memorial Park in Monee, IL. Memorials to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Richton Park would be appreciated.
