Earnest "Ernie" Vernati

Earnest “Ernie” Vernati, age 74, a long-time resident of Peotone, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. He was born on January 23, 1950, in West Virginia.

 He is survived by his wife, Dorothy “Dottie” Vernati; his daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Ronald Winkle; his step-daughter and step son-in-law Lisa and Bill Lewis; several grandchildren; and his sisters, Nora, Sheila, Karen, and Kimberly. Ernie loved his wife and family. His grandchildren were his pride and joy.

 Cremation rites have been accorded, and private burial services in Peotone Cemetery next to his son, Ernest Vernati will be held.
