David Santori

David A. Santori, age 55, of Peotone, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, suddenly.

He was born July 6, 1959 in Chicago Heights, IL, the son of the late Angelo and Ruth (Johnson) Santori. He is survived by his wife, Roxanne (Pocius) Santori of Peotone who he married on June 10, 1978 at St. Liborious in Steger, IL. He is also survived by a daughter, Heather (Michael) Pasewald of Hudson, IL; a sister, Linda (Don) Curl of Crete, IL; and two nieces, Katie and Becky.

David was the owner/operator of Be Assured Home Inspections. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Peotone. He enjoyed fishing and was a fan of the Chicago Cubs and Blackhawks. He loved gardening vegetables and flowers, and spending time outside sitting by the fire. He was a weather spotter for the National Weather Service. He was a handyman in general and loved to help others. He loved animals, especially Boo Bear, Sweet Pea, Rerun, Sanrio, and Linus.

Visitation will be held at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 30 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Peotone on Wednesday, December 31 at 11:00 a.m., father Roger Kutzner officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 10-11 a.m. prior to mass. Cremation rites will be accorded following services. Inurnment will take place at Peotone Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials to The Family would be appreciated.
