Colleen A. (Stassen) Rousseau, age 59, of Monee, IL, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Franciscan St. James Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL.
She was born on September 25, 1955 in Chicago Heights. She was a clerical worker at Carbon Alloy and Steel in Monee.
She is survived by her mother, June (Jacobs) Stassen; a sister, Beverly (Chester) Johnson; a niece, Cathy Johnson; a nephew, Greg Johnson, and a special friend, Warren Slocum all of Monee. Colleen was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Stassen, on May 29, 2004.
Visitation will be held at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home in Peotone on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 2 at 7:00 p.m., Rev. Tom Ewing officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded following services. Memorials to the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
