Billy Joe Watts

Billy Joe Watts, 89, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Anyone who knew Billy knew of his passion for golf. He took up the game at the age of 40 and taught himself to play. A straight shooter both on and off the golf course, Billy was proud of his accomplishments, including an incredible 12 holes-in-one! Golf was more than just a hobby to him; it was a lifelong passion that brought him countless hours of enjoyment and many memories to cherish. He was a member of Twin Lakes Golf Course in Mountain Home for 28 years.

Above all, Billy treasured the time he spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His family was an important part of his life, and he will be lovingly remembered by those who knew him as “Pa.”

Billy was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary; his parents; and his sisters and brothers.

He is survived by his son, Ken (Lisa), and his daughters, Karen (Craig) and Karla (Chuck). He leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Tyler (Danielle), Kelsey, Michael (Jordan), Jason (Kim), Casey (Chuck), Christian (Morgan), and Kensey (Logan). He was also blessed with five great-grandchildren: Ranger, Daphne, Violet, Remington, and Kinsley, who brought even more joy to his life. Billy was also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Arrangements are private and are under the direction of Conner Family Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
