Bernard Voight

Bernard A. Voight, age 83, of Channahon, formerly of Peotone, died Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Symphony of Joliet, IL.
He was born on February 4, 1932 in Joliet, the son of the late Luther and Lydia (Hauck) Voight. He was a US Army Veteran and a retired Operating Engineer for Local 150.
He is survived by a son, Bernard J. Voight of Minooka; two daughters, Lori (the late John) Dede of Channahon and Shannon Emmons of Little Elm, TX; two grandsons, Cole and Jake Emmons; and a sister, Charlene L. Boswell of Peotone. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and his loyal companions, Lexi and Abby. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and two sisters.
All services will be private. Cremation rites have been accorded.
