Arlene J. King, 77, of Dwight, formerly of Peotone, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.
She was born September 1, 1935, in Chicago. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Peotone.
Mrs. King is survived by a daughter, Debbie (Don) Muzyka of Dwight; three grandchildren, Jason, Laura and Michael Muzyka; three sisters-in-law, Ella King and Sharon (Ron) Schreader, both of Oak Lawn, and Carol (Bart) DeLorenzo of Avondale, Ariz.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She married Patrick J. King on September 1, 1956, in Chicago, and he died September 5, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Helen (Gaworski) Kowske.
Visitation 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 20, at Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home in Peotone. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Saturday, July 20, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, with Father Roger Kutzner officiating. Burial in Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery.
