Main St. Peotone, IL 60468 Service Saturday, April 25, 2009 3 p.m. Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home John I. Tucker, age 75, of Milan, TN, formerly of Chicago Heights, died suddenly Tuesday, April 21, 2009 in Milan, TN. He was born May 29, 1933 in Lebanon, KY. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1951-1954 and was retired from the Ford Motor Stamping Plant in Chicago Heights after 35 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Velma (McGreer) Tucker of Milan, TN who he married on February 23, 1956. He is also survived by a daughter, Janice (Charles) Sharp of Peotone; 3 sons, John Tucker of Manteno, Daniel Tucker of Manteno, and Timothy (Andrea LaBelle) Tucker of Peotone; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 25, 2009 from 1-3 p.m. at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home with the funeral service immediately following at 3 p.m., with Deacon Gene LaBelle officiating. Interment will follow at Peotone Cemetery. Memorials to the family's wishes would be appreciated. |
