Main St. Peotone, IL 60468 Service April 20,2009 10 a.m. St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church, Peotone, IL Kathryn Marie Rademacher, nee O’Connor, age 91, of Peotone, IL, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at her home. Born April 22, 1917 in Joliet, IL to the late Gerald and Mary (nee Mostyn) O’Connor. Survived by her sons, James (Joan) of South Daytona Beach, FL, John (Cynthia) of Niles, IL, Robert (Claire) of Peotone, and Dr. William (Melda) of Bloomington, IL; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters-in-law, June O’Connor of Elwood, IL, Marie Stanley and Dorothea Moran both of AZ; also numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Rademacher, who she married on Oct. 5, 1940 at Sacred Heart Church in Joliet; a sister, Marguerite Reedy Murphy; 4 brothers, John, James, Frank, and Leo O’Connor; an infant brother, Joseph O’Connor; a granddaughter, Yvonne Rademacher; and 3 sisters-in-law, Helen O’Connor, Mary Ellen O’Connor, and Lorrayne O’Connor. Mrs. Rademacher was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church of Peotone, a member of St. Paul CCW, she was named St. Paul’s Woman of the Year in 1987, CCD teacher for 15 years at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Wilton Center, member of a women’s advisory committee at Lewis College from 1964-1966, and member of the PTA and Band Boosters in Peotone. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 19, from 2-7 p.m. at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home, 112 W. Main St. Peotone, IL 60468 with funeral mass held Monday, April 20 at 10 a.m. from St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Peotone. Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Joliet.
