Main St. Peotone, IL 60468 Service Wednesday, July 29, 2009 11:00 a.m. Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home Stanley M. Lesniewicz, age 78, of Bourbonnais, IL, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2009 at Hines Veteran’s Hospital in Hines, IL. He was born in Chicago, IL on July 23, 1931 to the late Stanley and Mary (Wepsiec) Lesniewicz. He is survived by 4 children; Deb (Bob) Pilsudski of Posen, Il, Doug (Amy) Lesniewicz of Virginia, Dee Doyle of Bradley, IL, and Dave (Laura) Lesniewicz of Texas. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 1 brother; Martin Lesniewicz of Arizona, 2 sisters; Julie (Daryl “Red”) Cleveland of Mokena, IL and Betty (Casey) Goff of LaGrange Park, IL, and a best friend; Charlie. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother; Robert. Mr. Lesniewicz was an U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He also enjoyed gardening and caring for his family. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2009 from 4-8 p.m. at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from the funeral home, Father Dan Hoehn officiating. Military Burial honors and interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. Memorials to the family would be appreciated. |
