 Bert Fowler Born: July 11, 1926 | Died: May 19, 2009 Visitation Friday, May 22 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home 112 Main Street Peotone, IL 60468 Service Friday, May 22 1 p.m. Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home Bert Fowler, age 82, of Peotone, IL, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, May, 19, 2009. He was born on July 11, 1926 in Danville, IL. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Schooley) Fowler whom he married June 24, 1950 in Alvin, IL, 4 children; Lynn (Bill) Sterud of Madison, WI, Steven Wynn Fowler of Peotone, Scott (Diana) Fowler of Wenatchee, WA, and Ned Fowler of Peotone; and 3 grandchildren, Darren Sterud, Noelle (Wes) Watkins, and Jacob Fowler. Mr. Fowler was a Civil Engineer who owned and operated Bert Fowler Engineers. He was a World War II United States Army Veteran, A graduate of Purdue University, a member of the Chi Epsilon Engineering Honor Fraternity, and was a licensed architect and member of AIA. Visitation will be Friday, May 22 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the funeral service at 1 p.m. from the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home, 112 W. Main St., Peotone, IL.
