Main St. Peotone, IL 60468 Service Saturday, June 13 1:30 p.m. St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Wilton Center Rosemary (nee Robbins) Borchardt, age 83, of Peotone, died Thursday, June 11, 2009 at her home. She was born on January 25, 1926 in Wilton Center, IL to the late David and Bridget (nee Mahoney) Robbins. She is survived by a son, Duane (Pat) Borchardt of Peotone; a daughter, Sue (Butch) Dite of New Lenox, 6 Grandchildren, and 9 Great-Grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Lester (Rita) Robbins of Manhattan; a sister-in-law, Doris Robbins of Peotone; a very special friend, Marge Moore of Peotone; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Borchardt is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald E. Borchardt, who she married on October 18, 1947 in Wilton Center; 2 brothers, Leo and Gerald Robbins; and a sister, Irene Dandurand. She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Peotone where she was a member of the CCW, a member of the Eastern Will County Senior Services, Bradley Moose, and the Will County Farm Bureau. Visitation will be at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Saturday, June 13 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Funeral mass will be held Saturday, June 13 at 1:30 p.m. from St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Wilton Center. Interment will be at Wilton Center Calvary Cemetery. Memorials to the Hospice of Kankakee Valley would be appreciated. |
