Main St. Peotone, IL 60468 Service Monday, July 6, 2009 11 a.m. Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home Helen L. Bell, age 88, of Frankfort, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2009 at the Family Home Health Services in Cicero, IL. She was born September 21, 1920 at home in Peotone, IL to the late John and Lorene (Jurres) Fick. She married the late Marion “Chubby” C. Bell (deceased 1988) on March 1, 1941. Mrs. Bell is survived by 3 children; Orville L (Kay) Bell of Frankfort, Esme (Byron L. Etapa) Bell of Alsip, and Roy A. Bell of Chino Hills, CA. She is also survived by 3 granddaughters; Diane (Bob) Simon, Janet Clymer, and Krystel Bell; and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and 2 brothers; Lee and Woody Fick. She was a retired sales associate for Sears of Park Forest, a member of the Frankfort United Methodist Church, a member of Royal Neighbors, very active in Frankfort Senior Citizens, and enjoyed crocheting. Visitation will be held Monday, July 6 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home, 112 W. Main St. Peotone, IL 60468 with the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Pastor B.J. (Betty Jo) Birkhahn-Rommelfanger officiating. Interment will be at Peotone Cemetery. Memorials to the Frankfort United Methodist Church would be appreciated. |
